Have a list of inventory numbers? Paste them into Inventory to see all of those works at once.
Find exact matches with the Inventory # filter
Go to Inventory and click Filter.
Choose Inventory #.
Change Contains to Is Any Of.
Paste your inventory numbers into the box.
You'll see only the works with those exact numbers.
Paste numbers into the search box
Go to Inventory.
Paste your inventory numbers into the search box.
Click Search for any of these.
This is the quickest way, but it can also bring up works with similar numbers. For example, 1021 can also find A1021. If you only want exact matches, use the filter above.
Good to know
Capital and small letters don't matter, so ab-12 finds AB-12.
Empty lines and numbers you've pasted twice are ignored.
The filter only checks each work's inventory number. It doesn't check other numbers saved with Add Additional #.
For editions, paste the numbers of the copies you want. Each copy shows up on its own.
Inside a list, exhibition or fair, paste your numbers into the search box on the Works tab.
If you see "Please paste a single column.", copy just the inventory numbers and try again.
