▶️ Watch the tutorial:

How to Scan a Card

1. Open the ARTERNAL App

Log into your ARTERNAL account on your iPhone.

2. Navigate to Contacts

Tap Contacts at the bottom of the screen.

3. Tap the “+” to Add a New Contact

This opens your options for creating a contact.

4. Select “Scan Business Card”

You’ll see two options for adding a card:

  • Take Card Photo — use your camera to snap a photo of the business card and scan it instantly.

  • Camera Roll — upload an existing photo of a business card saved on your device.

🚨Tip: If you choose to take a card photo, hold steady while the app scans the card and extracts text details.

6. Review & Edit the Contact Details

ARTERNAL will auto-populate fields like name, email, phone, and company.
Make any edits if needed.

7. Tap the “Blue Checkmark”

Your new contact is now added to ARTERNAL and ready to use.

Troubleshooting Tips

  • If the text doesn’t scan clearly, try adjusting the lighting or moving closer/further away.

  • You can also manually edit any fields that don’t scan perfectly.

You can manually correct any field before saving the contact.

Q: Can I scan double-sided business cards?
