Written by Kalila Richards

Posts are how you add news, press, videos and Store items to your website. You write them in the Posts section of the CMS, and each post's category decides where it appears on your site.

🔎 Finding a post

  • Click Posts in the sidebar to see all your posts, newest first.

  • Search by title, or click a category, such as Press or Store, to filter the list.

  • Each post shows Published or Draft. Draft means Visible on site is turned off.

✍️ Write a post

  1. Click New post. A new draft post is created and opens.

  2. Fill in the fields below. Your post saves automatically as you type, and the top right shows Saved.

  3. Turn on Visible on site.

  4. Click Publish.

Fields

  • Category: where the post appears, such as Press, Videos, Gallery News or Store.

  • Date: the post's date. Posts are listed newest first.

  • Post title and Subtitle (optional)

  • Cover image: the image shown with the post.

  • Artists and Exhibitions: tag who and what the post is about.

  • Video URL (YouTube or Vimeo): paste a link to embed a video. A preview appears under the field.

  • Body: the main text. Use the toolbar for headings, bold, italic, links, lists and quotes.

Store posts have different fields. See Adding Works to Your Website's Store.

🗑️ Delete a post

  1. Open the post and click Delete at the top right, or hover over it in the Posts list and click the trash icon.

  2. Click Delete Post to confirm.

Deleting is permanent and removes the post from your site right away. You don't need to click Publish.

❓FAQs

Q: I turned on Visible on site, but the post isn't on my website.

A: Click Publish. Posts, like all CMS changes, go live only when you publish.

Q: I clicked New post by mistake.

A: New post creates a draft right away, so an "Untitled" post appears in your list. Open it and click Delete.

Q: Can I undo a delete?

A: No. Deleted posts can't be recovered.
