Exhibitions and Fairs Need Dates Before They Publish

Exhibitions and fairs missing required dates can no longer be published to your ARTERNAL-generated website, and bulk publishing skips them with a warning.

Written by Kalila Richards

Incomplete exhibition and fair records can no longer be published to your ARTERNAL-generated website. Records missing their dates are blocked from publishing, and bulk publishing skips them with a warning instead of pushing incomplete pages live. This stops half-finished show pages from appearing on your public site.

✅ What to do if a record won't publish

  1. Open the exhibition or fair record.

  2. Fill in the start and end dates.

  3. Publish again.

If you're bulk publishing, review the warning to see which records were skipped, complete their dates, and re-run.

💡 Good practice

Add dates when you create the show record, even if they're provisional. It keeps the record publishable and keeps your website's exhibition listings ordering correctly.

❓FAQs

Q: Does this affect exhibitions already live on my site?

A: Already-published pages stay as they are. The check applies when publishing.
