Select All on a Filtered Contact View

Select All now selects every contact matching your filters, not just the first batch loaded on screen.

Written by Kalila Richards

Using Select All on a filtered contact view previously took roughly the first 120 contacts and then stopped without telling you. It now adds every contact matching your filters.

🧭 How to use it

  1. In Contacts, apply the filters you want (tags, assigned user, location, segment, and so on).

  2. Click Select All.

  3. Every contact in the filtered result is selected — confirm the count shown before you act on the selection.

From there you can apply your bulk action: add to a list, tag, assign, export, or archive.

⚠️ Worth knowing

Because Select All now really does select everything in the filter, double-check your filters before running a bulk action. A broad filter plus a bulk change affects far more records than it used to.

❓FAQs

Q: Do I need to scroll to the bottom of the list first?

A: No. Selection is based on your filters, not on what's loaded on screen.

Q: Does this affect bulk exports?

A: Yes — exports from a Select All now include the full filtered set.
